DAY 1
DAY 1 The group have decided on 2 fables for our story to be worked on. Each group member will have their own version of stories to be shared tomorrow. INDIVIDUAL VERSION 1) MECURY & THE WOODMAN (http://www.aesopfables.com/cgi/aesop1.cgi?sel&MercuryandtheWoodman) morale: honesty is the best poliy Personalization 1 : A blind man had a problem distinguishing betwen $2 and $5 note. He was paying for his food at a hawker and had paid the owner $5 for $2 worth of food and walked away. The store owner responded by going over to the man and gave his change. It happened several time at he same store as the blind man is a regular customer there. However one day, the store owner next to the previous one saw the blind man from far. Knowing that he could cheat the blind man's money, he lead the blind man to his store and recomended his cheapest fast selling nasi lemak. the blind man paid him $5 and walked off. The store owner, getting a profit kept quiet about it. However one schoolboy saw what happend and had approched the blind man. Their conversation later caught the attention of a group of aunties. They later started some gossips that left an impact to the storeowner 2) The Woodman and the Serpent (http://www.aesopfables.com/cgi/aesop1.cgi?sel&TheWoodmanandtheSerpent) Morale of the story : No gratitude from the wicked Personalization 1 : Tony was at a party when one of his mates came up to him for a fight over a miscomunication. Tony avoids the commotion by walking away. Later that night, Tony saw his mate,ricky very drunk and everyone else seems oblivious to him. Tony on the other hand, thought it would be an opportunity for him to help and maybe resolve the misunderstandings they had. Tony draged ricky out of the party and took him home with a cab. However, tony realised that he had not withdrawn any cash from the ATM and had therefore took some cash from Ricky's wallet with an intention of returning it first thing the next morning. So the next morning, tony went over to ricky's but instead of getting things cooled down, another fight broke out as ricky tought that tony was taking revenge while he was drunk by stealing his cash. |
