DAY 8
DAY 8  Editing starts today. We spend almost few hours transfering footages from p2 cards to the computer. We had several problems transfering as the computer lacks memory storage. Jumping from one computer to another, we finally settled on one and transfered all the datas. Later as i was editing, i found that there were several missing footages. The group started panicing a little as we scrambled through all the computers we used previously for the missing scenes. Lucky for us, we managed to get it, transfered to my hard disk before settling it in a fixed computer. Almost half the day was wasted on transfering and arranging the scene for easier editing. During the editing processes, i found that there were several continuity error as well as overexposed lights or lacking of facial expresions from the talents. What worried me now at this stage is that, we cant meet the minimum 4 min requirement as well as the lack of varios shot sizes. Nonetheless, the group will have a discussion tomorow to see if there is a need to re-shoot or just make use of what we have and make the best out of it. For my part, i think i need to do more read up on final cut pro to be more pro in editing. I shall hit the libary one of these days. |
